What We'll Do
Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty
Your tuk-tuk and tour expert are ready. Let's head out at 9am, after your breakfast or 2pm post lunch, based on the time you have booked.
Click pictures & experience the most popular street market of Kochi. We will wrap it up in 10-15 minutes.
Kerala Folklore Theatre Museum
Our next stop will leave you breathless – a large, private collection of a couple, spanning several historical eras. Spend the next 30 minutes with the traditional artifacts, items from regional architecture, folk art pieces and a souvenir shop. Don’t miss the exclusive theatre space on the topmost floor.
Enjoy next 10 mins in Jew Town, where you will be met with a flurry of sights and smells. Cafes, souvenir shops and art galleries fight for space here. Best place to pick up souvenirs and click some snaps.
Go on a quick tour around the palace and Temple for next 10 minutes to get a glimpse into the history of the area.
Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica
Take a 10 minute walk inside the Basilica. Admire the Portuguese architecture & the beautiful Murals & artifacts.
St. Francis Church
Visit St. Francis Church, one of the oldest European churches in India. The stone-paved walkways in front of it make for some relaxation.
Chinese Fishing Nets
As you stroll down the main street you will find the famed Chinese fishing nets nestled on the Fort Kochi Beach. See how they operate these unique nets and catch fish.
If you’ve not travelled on a Jhankar (barge boat), here’s your chance! We get the tuk tuk and ourselves on it and get down on the other part of town - Vypin.
Vypin Fishing Harbour
Next is the harbour located further down the road. Start a conversation with one of the native fisherfolk and learn about the rich marine life, live auctions and daily fresh catches.
Just across the bridge - a 500-year-old church, known for the Mother Mary statue recovered from the sea.
