Appreciate an astounding white symmetrical façade of Vallarpadam Church, on a lake island. A major pilgrimage centre for Christians, originally built in 1526 by Portuguese and then destroyed by Dutch. The present day structure dates to 1676 having awe-inspiring six story twin towers overlooking the Vembanad Lake. as you stepped inside the church you'll be amused to see the hand pulled 'pankhas' (Fans) still adorning the ceilings. If your looking for an extravagant experience to indulge in, then this church will take you back in to the diverse history.
